GENERAL CONFERENCE
After 1879 Canada and the districts of United States had one General Conference. The first Conference was held in Markham district in 1880. Peter Cober and Samuel Snider were the Bishops or overseers. Next, in 1889, Bishop Samuel Baker was the overseer. In 1898 Bishop Samuel Baker and H. R. Heise, assistant Bishop. In 1908 Bishop H. R. Heise. In 1923 Bishop Peter Steckley. In 1935 Bishop Alvin Winger. Beginning with 1953, General Conference coming to Ontario will be held at the Niagara Christian College, Fort Erie.
